11 June 2015

Kuala Lumpur, 11 June 2015 – Labuan International Business and Financial Centre (Labuan IBFC) - Asia Pacific’s leading midshore business and financial centre - is organising the Wealth Management for Managers Conference across three main ASEAN cities to encourage talent development and facilitate the use of internationally-recognised asset protection structures among Southeast Asia’s wealth management fraternity. “Each part of the wealth management value chain requires specific value-added competency, ranging from the acquisition of assets, advisory and management services to structuring, custodial services and distribution of assets. The ASEAN region, with its growing number of High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNWIs), is demanding greater access to wealth management services. It is for this reason Labuan IBFC, which already offers a range of legal entities for asset protection and legacy planning, is organising this one-day knowledge-sharing session in Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta and Singapore,” said Danial Mah Abdullah, Interim Chief Executive Officer of Labuan IBFC.
